2026 Spring Member Release
Available online for a limited time
Dear Copia Family,
Member releases always pull me inward—into gratitude, reflection, and a swell of emotion. The wines we craft, from vineyard to bottle, feel like children raised with patience and care, now ready to leave our hands and find their way into yours. And as we send them out into the world, I can’t help but trace the path that brought us here: seasons stacked like chapters, choices made in faith, and the quiet, steady work of becoming more ourselves with each vintage.
Almost every night at the Sahi household, we pop the cork off of a bottle of wine and share it with each other. Sitting together are often two or three generations at the table. A glass of wine presses pause on the rush, making room for the day’s little stories and what’s been on our minds. And lately, that pause feels more necessary than ever. When the world is loud, tense, and constantly pulling at our attention, it matters to have something steady that brings us back to each other and back to what is important. Great wine has always felt like more than what’s in the glass. It’s a way of saying come sit with me. It turns an ordinary Tuesday into a small celebration—an attainable indulgence meant for sharing. Each bottle is a story you can pour: of a season, a place, a family, friends and moments worth sharing.
And so, in that same spirit—of slowing down, gathering close, and letting the story unfold, our Spring 2026 Member Release arrives. It features two wines from the impeccable 2023 vintage, alongside two extended-aged jewels from 2022 (one shaped by time in barrel, one softened by time in bottle). With full hearts and great pride, we place these wines in your hands. Whether saved for a milestone or poured on an ordinary night, may they gather your people close and linger like a good memory.
Thank you for being part of this community.
With Gratitude,
Anita Sahi

2023 Amrit 100% Chardonnay
Bien Nacido Vineyard • Santa Maria Valley
94 pts—Lisa Perrotti-Brown
93 pts—Wine Enthusiast
This chardonnay is all about precision and poise. It starts with lifted orchard fruit—white peach and ripe stone fruit—then shifts into more nutty, mineral territory as it opens. Notes of toasted almond and a faint bread-dough warmth weave through a distinctly stony, coastal character. The palate is focused and energetic, carried by clean, mouthwatering acidity and a salty-mineral edge that makes the fruit feel even brighter. Oak aging adds structure and quiet richness, but stays in the background—more a frame than a flavor. The texture lands silky and refined, finishing long with lingering stone fruit, almond, and mineral freshness.
2023 Anchor 75% Mourvèdre, 15% Syrah, 10% Tempranillo
Copia Estate Vineyard • Paso Robles Willow Creek District
96 pts—Lisa Perrotti-Brown
96+ pts—Jeb Dunnuck
Deeply colored and intensely aromatic, The Anchor is built around dark fruit power with a distinctly wild, earthy edge. The nose opens with layers of black plum, blueberry, and dark berry compote, then evolves into rugged complexity—mossy forest floor, cured olive, smoked meat, graphite, and cracked black pepper. On the palate, it’s medium-to-full bodied and tightly focused: concentrated fruit up front, followed by a wave of mineral, earth, and savory tones that keep the wine lifted rather than heavy. Refreshing acidity drives energy through the mid-palate, while firm, fine-grained tannins provide structure and length. Oak is restrained, supporting the wine without covering its purity. The finish is persistent, leaving behind dark fruit and a smoky spice echo. The Anchor is unapologetically a food lover's wine of choice.
2022 Matador 80% Tempranillo, 15% Mourvèdre, 5% Syrah
Caelesta Vineyard • Templeton Gap District
93 pts—Jeb Dunnuck
93 pts—James Suckling
2022 The Matador has bold, firm structure and real composure. Aromas lead with black cherry and dark red berries, followed by layers of cocoa, cedar, and tobacco. There is an undertone of a darker anise alongside dusty, scorched-earth that keeps the wine firmly rooted. The palate is full-bodied with generous fruit up front, then tightens into a focused, balanced finish. Thirty months of extended aging in oak adds depth and polish—bringing a refined, cigar-box complexity—while the wine’s lengthy, steady tannins provide a wine that will evolve with time. The finish carries black cherry, cocoa, tobacco, and earth with a lingering, savory-mineral impression. Approachable now with a decant but built to reward patience—expect a decade plus drinking window.

2022 Cabernet Sauvignon 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot, 12% Cabernet Franc
Copia Estate Vineyard • Paso Robles Willow Creek District
96+ pts—Jeb Dunnuck
96 pts—Lisa Perrotti-Brown
Our 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep, rich, and built for the long haul. The aromatics come on immediately with cherry confit, cocoa, and ripe plum, wrapped in seamlessly integrated oak that lends vanilla, toasted coffee, and cedar. With air, darker tones emerge: black currant, lead pencil and tobacco. On the palate it’s full-bodied and concentrated, starting smooth and polished before revealing a firmer core. A backbone of acidity balances the weight and pulls the wine through the finish. Abundant, structured tannins anchor everything, giving this Cabernet serious aging potential and a lingering, persistent finish.
