2026 Fall Member Release

Dear Copia Family,

As I write this, Syrah is coming off the vine at both our Willow Creek and Adelaida Estates. All of the white varieties at Adelaida are now safely in the cellar, and the winery is alive with the beautiful urgency of harvest.

This is the ninth season of walking the rows with Varinder since beginning Copia. Each harvest reminds us that nothing in the vineyard—or in life—stands still. Through its cycle of birth, growth, rest, and rebirth, the vine embodies both an ending and a beginning. This year, that truth feels especially close as we reflect on what life is made of: joy and loss, friendship and memory, and the ways those we love continue to shape what comes next. Alongside our estate fruit, we are welcoming remarkable grapes from a vineyard belonging to dear friends—a thread of shared history and continuity that we are honored to carry into our cellar.

While the 2026 vintage begins its life, we are preparing to place the 2024 vintage into your hands. Following generous winter rains, the growing season gave us lighter yields and beautifully concentrated, expressive fruit. From it came four wines that form the heart of Copia: The Story Grenache, The Anchor Mourvèdre, The Cure Red Rhône Blend, and The Source Syrah. Together, they are the clearest expression of the varieties, vineyards, and convictions upon which we have built Copia.

With this release, we are going beyond how each wine was grown and to answer a more personal question: Why do you need this wine in your cellar? Because a cellar should not simply be a collection of bottles waiting for someday. It should hold possibilities—a milestone still to come, a dinner that stretches late into the evening, or an ordinary night made memorable by opening something extraordinary.

Your support has carried us through nine harvests and helped turn a dream into our life’s work. Every time you open a bottle, you bring that journey into your home and carry forward the work that began in our vineyards. We hope these wines become part of the moments you will carry with you.
